Website SEO Audit
SEO & AnalysisFreeNo account required
Crawl your website and analyse technical SEO, on-page SEO, content, structured data, performance and AI search readiness, then get a prioritised plan of what to fix, why it matters, and how to do it.
Enter your homepage and we’ll crawl your site the way a search engine would. Free, no account needed.
Verified, not guessed
Our own crawler establishes every fact: the status code, the canonical, the headings, the broken links. AI is used to explain and prioritise those findings, never to invent them.
Patterns, not repetition
Repeated issues are grouped and the affected pages named. One template-level mistake reads as one problem across six pages, not as six unrelated problems.
Built for AI search too
Alongside classic SEO, the audit measures how easily an answer engine can find, quote and attribute your content: answerability, extractability, question coverage and entity clarity.
The crawl
How your website is crawled
You enter your homepage. We find your other pages the way a search engine would (through your sitemap and your own internal links) and audit each one with the same engine.
Your homepage first
We fetch and audit the URL you submit, then read robots.txt and look for an XML sitemap.
Pages are discovered, not guessed
URLs come from your sitemap and from the links on your pages. Navigation links are treated as more important than links buried in body copy.
The important pages go first
The queue is ordered by page type, so your about, services, pricing and contact pages are audited before blog tags and legal pages.
Every page gets the full audit
Each page runs through the same engine (technical, indexability, on-page, content, structured data and AI readiness) and gets its own score.
Findings are aggregated
Results are rolled up into site-wide issues with the pages they affect, and the site score is the average across pages rather than the homepage's alone.
Coverage
What the audit checks
Every crawled page, checked end to end. The audit fetches each URL exactly as a crawler would, reads the HTML the server actually returned, and runs its checks against that, not against a rendered approximation of it.
Technical SEO
HTTPS and the HTTP-to-HTTPS redirect, the status code and redirect chain, the mobile viewport, the declared language and character encoding, and how quickly the server answered us.
Indexability
Meta robots and the X-Robots-Tag header, robots.txt rules that apply to this exact URL, the canonical tag and what it points at, and whether an XML sitemap exists.
On-page SEO
Title, meta description, the H1 and the heading outline, image alt text with decorative images handled correctly, anchor text, and Open Graph and Twitter card tags.
Links
Internal and external counts, nofollow, sponsored and UGC attributes, empty anchors, and a reachability check across up to 50 unique destinations.
Structured data
JSON-LD and microdata are extracted, their types identified, and their structure checked. We report what is there, not whether Google will award a rich result for it.
Performance
Lighthouse performance and Core Web Vitals come from Google PageSpeed Insights, measured for your homepage. If that data is unavailable, the category is excluded from the score rather than estimated.
Scoring
How the score is calculated
A fixed 100-point model, split across seven categories. Each category's site score is the average across the pages we crawled, so an issue on half your pages costs half the points, proportional, and independent of how many pages the crawl reached.
- Technical SEO25 pts
- On-page SEO20 pts
- Content20 pts
- Indexability15 pts
- Performance10 pts
- Structured Data5 pts
- AI Search Readiness5 pts
If a category cannot be measured: most often performance, when PageSpeed Insights is rate-limited: it is excluded and the remaining categories are scaled back up to 100. The report says so on its face rather than presenting a number that quietly stands in for data we do not have.
AI search readiness
The signals behind the AEO score
Answer engines quote pages, they do not just link to them. These five signals are measured by our own rules, so the score is reproducible, a number a language model assigned would sound just as authoritative and mean nothing.
Answerability
Whether the opening of the page addresses the subject named in its own title, rather than arriving at it several paragraphs later.
Heading clarity
Whether subheadings are descriptive phrases that name what their section covers, rather than one-word labels or full sentences.
Question coverage
Whether the page addresses specific questions, through question-form headings or FAQ structured data.
Entity clarity
Whether the page defines its subject in plain language or identifies it with structured data, so an answer engine can state what the page is about.
Extractability
Whether passages are a length that quotes cleanly, long enough to carry context, short enough not to bury the answer.
Where AI fits: The audit engine establishes the facts and calculates the score before any model is called. Gemini then receives those verified findings and explains what they mean, why they matter for this page, and what to do about them. It is not allowed to change a finding, and any recommendation referring to an issue we did not actually find is discarded before it reaches you.
